HOW TO VOTE IN THE RECALL ELECTION:
VOTE BY MAIL BEGINS AUGUST 16 AND CONTINUES THROUGH SEPTEMBER 14. YOU CAN VOTE IN PERSON FROM SEPT 4-14.
Every registered voter in California will receive a ballot in the mail beginning August 16.
The ballot will look like the ballot on the right.
The ballot will present voters with two questions. The first will ask whether Newsom should be recalled from the office of governor. The second will ask who should succeed Newsom if he is recalled. A majority vote is required on the first question for the governor to be recalled.
VOTE NO ON THE FIRST QUESTION.
REPUBLICANS ARE SPENDING MILLIONS TO OVERTURN THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 2020 ELECTION, WHEN GAVIN NEWSOM WON THE GOVERNORSHIP WITH OVER 60% OF THE VOTE.
Republicans are counting on a low turnout by Democrats and a high MAGA turnout to remove Gov. Newsom from office, which would be disastrous for the state.
The second ballot question lists many candidates, some of whom call themselves Democrats, although we know very little about them. But the second question won't be relevant if the majority votes NO on the first question.
VOTE NO ON THE FIRST BALLOT QUESTION TO KEEP GOVERNOR NEWSOM IN OFFICE.
