Welead Orange County (OC) recruits and develops leadership skills of Progressive Women Democrats to run for city councils and school boards, with a focus on Women of Color and women living in under-represented communities.

Welead OC is For Progressive Women Democrats, By Progressive Women Democrats. We are Women of Color, Immigrants, Moms, Activists, Campaign Professionals, Run People-Powered Campaigns, are LGBTQA+, Mentors, First-Time Candidates and Flip Red Districts.

Welead OC’s mission is not only to develop a strong qualified coalition of women candidates & activists, but to create a safe and supportive community for women, working together to ensure the election of more Progressive Women Democrats.

Welead OC’s FREE 4-Day Development Series is open to all Progressive Women Democrats no matter what County they reside.

Welead OC’s Democratic Women Candidate/Political Development Series is a Free, 4-Day, Virtual series open to any Democratic Women in California. The series begins on Thursday, July 14th (6:30-8:30PM); Friday, July 15th (6:30-8:30PM); Saturday, July 16th (10AM – 4:00PM) ending Sunday, July 17th (10AM – 4:30PM). Welead OC recruits and trains Women Democrats to run for city councils and school boards with a focus on Women of Color and women living in under-represented communities
