Democrats in California like YOU energized the nation in 2018 by flipping seven Congressional districts from red to blue! But sadly, one of these districts flipped back to the GOP earlier this year — CD-25 in Southern California. We cannot let this stand!
We can get this district back — the votes are there — but we need to pull out all the stops for our candidate Christy Smith!
Join this statewide Day of Action on Sunday, July 19, when we will mobilize to call CD-25 voters for Christy Smith. State Democratic Party Chair Rusty Hicks will kick off the Day of Action at 1:00 p.m. with a quick Town Hall. Expect a few very special guest speakers!
Then we’ll make those calls for Christy Smith.
We have a great candidate in Smith, who currently serves many of the residents of CD-25 as a member of the State Assembly. She is ready to work hard in Washington, D.C. to represent the interests of families in her Southern California district.
Christy Smith is clearly the best person to represent the residents of CD-25, and it is more important now than ever to restore this district for the Democratic Party in November.
District 25 is located in Los Angeles and Ventura counties in an area where many voters are registered as “No Party Preference” but will vote Democratic when presented with a strong candidate like Christy Smith. This is our chance.
We need to convince these independent thinkers that Christy Smith is the best candidate for CD-25. And we need persuade the Democrats to vote like it’s the most important election of their lives — because it is!
