2023 Kickoff Meeting for State Strong Yolo – progressive advocacy at the State Capital! State Strong Yolo is the state legislative advocacy team for Indivisible Yolo. Across the nation, State Capitals are incubators for new laws and state laws have the biggest impact on people’s lives. With a Democratic supermajority in Sacramento, our expectations are high and we will insist on progressive accomplishments in 2023. Bring your ideas for state legislation. We will discuss possible legislation and how we will advocate along with the statewide coalition of Indivisible groups in 2023. The meeting will include optional training sessions for researching and monitoring state legislation as well as using the Indivisible Yolo slack platform for communications. Everyone interested in promoting progressive policies is welcome!
