Register young Ohio voters by mail

Swing Left Peninsula has partnered with The Civics Center to pilot a program to register young voters in Ohio by mail with scannable QR codes ahead of the November, 2023 election. Ohioans will vote on a reproductive rights measure that protects abortion access in the state. Ohioans will vote on a reproductive rights measure that protects abortion access in the state. The chance to protect reproductive rights in Ohio is very motivating to young people, and the ground we plow now will also support Senator Sherrod Brown’s reelection effort in 2024. This Ohio Senate seat is a must-win for Democrats to hold or expand our majority in the Senate.

In preparation for this virtual event, we will email you the letter template, instructions, and 20 recipient addresses. We will send you 60 QR code coins through the US mail and you will physically enclose 3 coins inside each letter before you mail them to prospective young Ohio voters. You will need a working printer to print out the letter template.

After the party, you may order as many addresses and QR code coins as you would like to prepare on your own time. We will be writing from August through early October.
