Progressive 39th works to engage local folks in matters of local, state, and federal government – with goals of not only keeping apprised of our elected officials’ actions and words, but also taking action to promote / support good policies and resist / oppose bad ones.
Good policies are those that:
* stand up for human rights, including the right to healthcare,
* promote equity in economic and educational opportunity and in the justice system,
* protect the environment.
