Merced | Want to take a walk with me?

Join me and other volunteers to knock on doors and register voters!

A registered voter is a likely voter. Typically, more than eight of ten registered voters turn out to vote in a presidential election. Because voting is habit forming, helping someone register and reminding them to vote in one election can dramatically increase the likelihood that they’ll vote in future elections. In 2022 Adam Gray lost by only 564 votes. We can flip that seat from Red to Blue by registering voters.

Once you’ve signed up, a Bay Area Coalition volunteer will contact you and help with carpools. They will also give you details about the meeting location and names of people running the event.

No experience is necessary. When you arrive at the staging location you will be trained and given all the supplies you need. We’ll have clipboards, forms, pens, snacks and water. Bring your personal items like comfy shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a smile. We will be using PDI and so a well-powered smartphone is necessary.

If you’ve never canvassed before (and even if you’re a fellow introvert), or just need a refresher, join the Bay Area Coalition canvassing workshop every Tuesday, 7 pm – https://www.mobilize.us/cadems/event/596490/

If you are not able to knock doors, you can support volunteer canvassers in the Central Valley – donate here https://secure.actblue.com/donate/centralvalleycanvassing
