Join Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties for a screening of Aftershock –

Aftershock is a true story of two families’ firsthand experiences with the Black maternal mortality crisis and how their community came together to honor and fight for two women who died shortly after giving birth. Through their collective journeys, we find ourselves on the front lines of the growing birth justice movement that is demanding systemic change within our medical system and government.

After the screening of the film, we will be having a guided discussion focusing on the racial disparities in healthcare access that have devastating impacts on the maternal health of women of color, especially Black women.
