How Citizens’ Assemblies Can Restore Trust
December 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am PST

Join us on December 8 for an interactive introduction to citizens’ assemblies and how they can empower citizen participation in local democracy. This 90-minute online teach-in, co-hosted by the Berggruen Institute, Hannah Arendt Center at Bard College, Healthy Democracy, and Public Access Democracy, will bring together advocates and experts on democratic theory and governance to introduce how democratic lotteries and citizen deliberation works and their relevance to LA’s most significant political challenges.
